Inside DexterLab
Welcome to the DexterLab Backroom
This is not a technical page.
You won’t find equations, architectures, or timing diagrams here.
This is the backroom of the Lab — the human side, the playful side, the slightly odd side that quietly coexists with the serious engineering work.
Because DexterLab works like this:
professional when needed, playful whenever possible.
If you want to understand not just what the Lab does, but who is behind it, you’re in the right place.
Why this section exists
DexterLab is a technical project, but it comes from a real person with a simple philosophy:
“When I design electronic systems, I’m a professional.
When I talk about the Lab, I like to smile.”
This section collects everything that isn’t electronics but is still part of the Lab’s identity:
- micro‑stories
- scattered notes
- light reflections
- improbable protocols
- field impressions
- narrative experiments
- a bit of self‑irony
It’s the place where the Lab breathes.
What you’ll find here
The story of the Lab, told without taking itself too seriously.
Where it comes from, why it exists, what it represents.
Random thoughts, observations, ideas, jokes, and micro‑reflections.
The Lab’s personal notebook.
Stories from the field: travels, encounters, experiences, moments where technology meets real life.
Unwritten (and sometimes written) rules of the Lab.
Some useful, some… less so.
All honest.
Experiments, drafts, tests, games.
The place where ideas are born before they become serious.
Who this section is for
For anyone who:
- wants to understand the Lab beyond the technical content
- appreciates a bit of lightness
- believes technology is made by people
- wants to see what happens “behind the door”
- shares the philosophy: rigor at work, a smile everywhere else
How to read this section
There is no order.
No path.
No goal.
It’s a small parallel universe, something to explore when you need a break between a CRC and an LFSR.
A final note
This section is intentionally different from the rest of the site.
It’s the counterbalance.
The equilibrium.
The Lab is built like this:
technical, rigorous, clean… but with a light heart.
Welcome inside.
