Playground
A space for prototypes, drafts, and experimental content that supports ongoing exploration inside the Laboratory.
Prototypes
Early versions of ideas, components, or workflows that may evolve into full entries.
Examples include:
- partial RTL modules
- alternative architectural sketches
- interface variations
- timing experiments
- micro‑benchmarks
Prototypes are not final and may change significantly over time.
Visualizations
Diagrams, waveform captures, and structural representations used during design and debugging.
This section may include:
- block diagrams
- timing diagrams
- simulation waveforms
- state machine sketches
- dataflow visualizations
Visualizations help clarify concepts before they become formal documentation.
Tools & Scripts
Concepts or approaches that were explored but ultimately not adopted.
Examples:
- architectural paths that proved inefficient
- RTL approaches replaced by cleaner solutions
- workflows that didn’t scale
- experiments that produced inconsistent results
Documenting discarded ideas helps avoid repeating past mistakes.
Narrative Layer
Not everything in the Playground is stable — that’s the point.
It reflects the Laboratory’s exploratory side.
