1. Site News (Non‑Technical Updates)
May 2026 — Growing Interest and Platform Expansion
DexterLab is receiving a growing number of visitors, especially engineers and students looking for synthesizable and reusable digital design blocks. We are expanding the platform based on this interest, with a stronger focus on high‑quality, production‑oriented RTL and complete simulation environments.
May 2026 — New Banner System and Improved Navigation
We are reorganizing the site structure to provide a more direct and readable user experience. A new banner system is being introduced to highlight key updates per section (Home, Design Library, Theory, General), reducing visual blindness and making important information easier to spot.
May 2026 — Download Model: Free, Email‑Based, Corporate
We are defining a structured download model with three access levels:
- Free Downloads: open material for students and young professionals
- Email‑Based Downloads: advanced content available via email, to distinguish students from companies
- Corporate‑Authorized Downloads: high‑value material for professional and commercial use
This model will be applied progressively to Design Library content and complete simulation environments.
May 2026 — GitHub Repository Preparation
We are preparing the official DexterLab GitHub presence, where users will find selected synthesizable modules, testbenches, and reference simulation setups. The goal is to provide clean, reusable, and well‑documented examples that can be integrated directly into real projects.
2. Technical Releases (Downloads)
All models released through DexterLab are designed to be synthesizable and reusable whenever applicable. This is one of the primary goals of the project.
Free Downloads (Coming Soon)
We are preparing the first downloadable modules from the Design Library, including:
- LFSR/PRBS generators
- CRC blocks
- Basic communication interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART) Each block is designed with reuse in mind: clean RTL, clear interfaces, and consistent structure.
Email‑Based Downloads (Planned)
Advanced material will be available via email to better understand who is using the content (students, researchers, companies). Planned examples include:
- Advanced LFSR/PRBS testbenches
- Equalization examples (CTLE / DFE / FFE)
- AXI4 and AHB master models
- Complete simulation environments with stimulus, checkers, and documentation
Corporate‑Authorized Downloads (Planned)
High‑value material intended for professional and commercial use, such as:
- Complete 10BASE‑T1S simulation environment (PMD + MAC + real Ethernet traffic)
- High‑level Ethernet simulation environment with remote sensor/actuator modeling
- Full JESD204B TX/RX example environment
Access to these resources will be managed on a case‑by‑case basis.
3. In Development (Roadmap)

- MIPI CSI (e.g., radar or video receiver concepts)
- PCIe and other high‑speed interfaces (at architectural/educational level rather than full production cores)
- Complete 10BASE‑T1S PMD + MAC simulation flows
- High‑level Ethernet simulation environments for sensor/actuator remoting
All new blocks will follow the same philosophy: synthesizable where meaningful, reusable, and supported by clear documentation and testbenches.

When needed, we can also provide support via email or scheduled calls, especially for companies or advanced users who need guidance on how to integrate the material into their own environments.
